 American Bison hunts are offered at certain times of the year. Bison are hunted throughout the rolling hills of South Dakota. The buffalo range from mature cows, 2-4 year old bulls, and 5 year old plus trophy bulls that are wild. A guide will drive you out to the herd, that are roaming in 2,000 plus acres and you will harvest the buffalo of your choice. The bison you are looking for will be spotted and be stalked within a  125 yards or less. We will field dress the buffalo before delivering it to the processing plant and taxidermist. Buffalo are very large animals ranging from 1200 to 2000 pounds. It is recommended to use a .30 caliber or larger for harvesting this great animal. We also offer archery hunts for buffalo. Combinations with buffalo hunts go great: pheasant, prairie chicken, coyote or other hunts. |
