South Dakota and Iowa weather can change several degrees from day to day. It is wise to prepare for spring-fall like weather, and very cold winter weather. Temperatures range from 25 to 60 degrees.
Our guides are experienced hunters and have a good understanding of weather patterns and how wildlife will pattern different to those changes.

Booking Information:

Since we accommodate only a few hunters, it is advisable to make reservations at your earliest convenience. We request 50% deposit to confirm a booking. Deposits are refundable or transferable to another party or hunt, if written notice is received before the license sale. If notification is received after that, the deposit is forfeited or applied to the cost of next years hunt. The balance is payable on arrival.

Trophy Preparation
We care for your meat, trophy horns and capes as if they were our own. The client covers the cost of freight, taxidermy and meat processing. There is also a professional Taxidermist locally. They require 50% down on all taxidermy work.

| Northwest and orther Airlines recognizes the special needs you as a hunter may require. Please allow us to provide you with information that will make your hunting experience more enjoyable. Please review this information which we hope will prevent undue difficulties during the check in process. |

| Firearms |
|
| Shotguns, rifles and handguns must be transported as checked luggage in a LOCKED hard-sided case, constructed for the purpose of transporting firearms. The passenger is responsible for declaring in writing that the firearm in unloaded thru the use of the FIREARM UNLOADED TAG, which must be signed, dated and put inside the firearms case. |

| Ammunition |
|
| Ammunition is not permitted in carry on luggage or on ones person. NWA, KLM, Continental and Delta airlines require ammunition to be packed in the factory carton or in a rigid shock proof shipping container. Ammunition may be packed within the firearms case; HOWEVER... the ammunition must adhere to the above requirements. The maximum amount of ammunition per passenger is 11 pounds. |

| Luggage Allowances |
|
Each passenger is allowed two (2) pieces of checked luggage free of charge. The maximum free allowance weight per piece may need exceed 50 pounds per piece of luggage. Each passenger is allowed ONE (1) piece of carry on luggage plus a personal item such as a briefcase, laptop computer or purse. All carry on items must fit under the seat or in the overhead bin and must not exceed 45 inches (9"x14"x22") in size or forty pounds in weight. Any additional pieces of luggage will be accepted with separate charges.
Antlers are accepted as checked luggage only,and on a space available basis. All tines (points) must be covered to prevent damage to other's luggage. Airport personnel have thefinal approval for acceptance. NO antlers will be accepted with blood/dried blood, hair/skin, etc. This is a sanitation issue. Antlers are subject to excess charges.

| Dry Ice |
|
Dry Ice is not recommended for shipping your game home with you. It is recommended that your game be hard frozen, which will allow at least 24 hours of worry free travel. Dry Ice is a DANGEROUS GOOD used as a refrigerant. AAs dry ice thaws, it releases carbon dioxide which causes 2 negitive effects. Gasses build up within the container and it removes oxygen from the air. If you do choose to use dry ice, you are responsible for declaring it, your packaging must be well ventilated and you may use up to 4.4 pounds per package.
