Whether you desire an archery hunt, muzzleloader hunt, rifle hunt, or have special needs C & D Outfitters can accommodate. Since there are only a limited number of hunts available each year and this is a trophy style hunt, this is not a hunt that you will forget. Trophy mule deer hunts take place in a wide variety of locations from fields, creek bottoms, food plots, shelter belts, rough country, to open prairies of South Dakota.

You will find an abundance of wildlife with over 70,000 acres of private land exclusively managed for these magnificent animals. A minimal amount of hunters participate each year to ensure customer satisfaction and success. C & D Outfitters will do everything in our power to make sure your hunt is a memorable one.

There are point restrictions enforced on these hunts, however if during the end of your trip you have not taken the deer you have been looking for, cull deer or management deer can be taken to satisfy the meat hunters. Archery tags are guaranteed but rifle tags must be applied for prior to hunting season.

Exceptional South Dakota Trophy Mule deer hunting is found here at our camps in South Dakota. These large western Mule deer bucks are managed to provide the hunter with options of coming season after season to beat last year’s trophy. Guaranteed tags and long bow season provide exciting trophy whitetail deer hunting. Stands are located between feeding areas, watering holes, and bedding areas. Most Mule deer hunting is done by spot and stock methods. Stands and blinds are in the field year around allowing game to be a custom to their appearance. Extra stands and blinds are ready to be set into new areas as needed with deer patterns changing throughout the fall hunting season. Trophy Mule Deer Bucks will range from 140 class to 160 plus. You will be hunting out of permanent and portable blinds. You can expect to see big bodied bucks. It is not uncommon to see 70 to 100 deer in a day’s hunt. Mule deer are abundant and there are opportunities to shoot a nice trophy. Our guides will make sure that you have the opportunity of seeing and taking a nice trophy home. We have been able to establish good land management practices and have a positive impact on the management of our Mule deer population.

With all of this land, you can be assured that you will not be hunting land that has already been hunted during the same hunting season.

The hunts can be semi-guided or fully guided, your choice, and you will know the property boundaries and the best spots to hunt. Your guide will be a local resident who has been hunting and ranching in the area for many years. This ensures that they know the lay of the land and how the animals typically behave out here.
